Vanila

In Sri Lanka vanilla is mainly confined as a home garden crop grown in mid and low country wet zone. Vanilla is a spice derived from orchids of the genus Vanilla, primarily obtained from pods. Each individual flower has to be pollinated by hand, thus it highly labor-intensive crop.
